Privacy Policy

1. Overview

AsymiLink Meta ("we", "our", "us") operates the AsymiLink SEO platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: account registration details (name, email, company), websites you submit for analysis, and messages sent via the contact form. We do not take payments on this site and never collect or store payment card details. When you use the Service, our hosting provider's server logs record technical data such as your IP address, browser/device type and the pages requested, and your account keeps a record of the audits and features you run. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The browser storage we do use is listed in section 8.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; send the account emails you ask for, such as sign-up confirmation and password-reset links (sent through our sign-in provider, Supabase); reply to your enquiries and support requests; prevent fraud and abuse (including rate limiting); review service logs and account activity to fix problems and improve the platform; and comply with legal obligations. We do not send marketing newsletters. We do NOT use your website audit data to train AI models or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: service providers who assist in delivering the Service (Supabase for database hosting, sign-in and account emails, Netlify for website hosting, AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity and xAI for the AI features, and SEO data providers such as Google PageSpeed Insights, DataForSEO and Serper for audits), each under its own published data processing terms; and legal authorities if required by law or to protect our legal rights. We share only what each provider needs to do its part.

5. Data Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted database storage provided by our hosting provider, and access controls that limit each account to its own data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account access.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Audit results, AI visibility results and contact form messages are kept until you delete them, ask us to delete them, or close your account; we do not currently delete them automatically after a set period. To limit spam, when you send the contact or sign-up form we keep a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address (never the address itself) for up to 24 hours, then delete it. You can download a copy of your data, or permanently delete your account and its data, at any time in Settings > Your account and data, or ask us to do it for you. Deleting your account removes it straight away; our hosting provider's backup copies, if any, expire on their own schedule.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and data portability. You can download or delete your data yourself in Settings > Your account and data. To exercise any of these rights another way, email sales@asymilinkmeta.com or use the contact page. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in Australia, section 9 explains your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles, including how to complain.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

asymilinkseo.com does not set any HTTP cookies of its own and does not use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The Service stores a small number of items in your browser's local storage and session storage, listed below. Nothing is stored when you browse the public pages; items are written only when you sign in or use a feature that needs them. You can delete them at any time by signing out or clearing this site's data in your browser settings, but you will then need to sign in again and your saved preferences will be reset. Shared and branded documents load the fonts they use from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. We will update this section, and ask for your consent first, before adding any non-essential cookies or tracking.

  Your AsymiLink SEO sign-in session (Supabase Auth access and refresh tokens). Written only when you sign in.

  Until you sign out or clear site data. The access token inside it expires after about an hour and is refreshed automatically while you stay signed in.

  Type:

  localStorage

  Purpose:

  Your sign-in session for a client workspace portal (/c/<workspace>), kept separate from the main AsymiLink SEO session.

  Until you sign out of that workspace or clear site data.

  Type:

  Purpose:

  A one-time security value (CSRF protection) used while you connect a Google account (for example Search Console) from Settings.

  Type:

  Purpose:

  Keeps the audit or lead-analysis result you just ran so the results page can show it after navigation or a refresh.

  Purpose:

  Your saved preferences: default search region and your custom proposal prompt.

• aeo_history_v2, aeo_settings_v2

  Type:

  Purpose:

  AEO dashboard settings and, if you leave "Save results to browser localStorage" on, your recent AEO result history.

  How long:

  Until you clear it in the AEO settings or clear site data.

9. Australian Privacy Principles

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We will respond within 30 days and will not charge you for making a request. If we refuse, we will tell you why in writing and how to complain. If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it; we aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

10. Overseas Disclosure

The service providers listed in section 4 store or process personal information outside Australia, so your information may be disclosed to recipients overseas. Our main database (Supabase) is hosted in India. Netlify, Google and the AI providers are based in the United States, and our SEO data providers (DataForSEO and Serper) operate outside Australia, including from the European Union. Each may also use servers in other countries. AsymiLink Meta also operates from the United States. We take reasonable steps under APP 8, choosing established providers that publish data processing terms, so that overseas recipients handle your information consistently with the APPs.

11. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites including asymilinkmeta.com. These sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page whenever we do, and take reasonable steps to let registered users know about material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
